Chi Epsilon Requirements for membership:
Undergrad membership:
-
Upper 1/3 of class (junior or senior level)
-
Elected by 2/3 majority quorum of active XE members within 1 month of
availability.
Transfer Students:
-
Upper 1/3 of class (GPA after 1 year at WU)
-
Elected by 2/3 majority quorum of active XE members within 1 month of
availability.
Grad Students:
-
Automatic if XE member as undergrad.
-
Complete 1 semester in current program
-
Must be nominated by current XE member, endorsed by 2 XE faculty members,
and elected by ¾ majority of election quorum
-
Maybe considered inactive at the discretion of the chapter.
Chapters can elect members from other schools w/ an accredited CE major.
XE Officers:

VP Secretary

Associate Editor
-
Marshall (initiation)
-
Others as needed
(See descriptions of each in the by-laws).
Faculty advisor
-
Elected by the chapter every 2 years
-
Re-election of former advisor is acceptable
Initiation fees to national: $44.00/member
National newsletter: $10.00/year/chapter
Pledging activities:

Collect signatures
-
Papers, engineering tests, bylaw/constitution/fact quizzes.

Member Information Forms: add activities (email, phone numbers)
Next Meeting April 19th
Dues must be paid! $15 – give to Josh or Dr. Dyke
