Lab 4 - Prover (Design)
- For the query and proof, I have elected to create rules in which I have determined the likelihood of someone's taking cs313 (assuming s/he had not already taken the class). This argument only requires as contingent evidence that someone, myself in the example, is a cs student. It's fun to see whether I should have taken cs313, based on the rules.
- For complex body of policies, I will input the policies regarding performance by a buyer. This is in contrast to my original idea of eligibility for public office. The reasons for this change are two-fold. Using the policies for buyer performance are more complicated than those for public office (senator, congressman, or president) eligibility AND it seriously aids in my review for my Business Law final on contract law.
Lab 4 - Prover (Progress) (12/14/00)
- The first half of the project has determined that scheduled_cs313(Jacob) is indeed true. See the entire argument at: http://userfs.cec.wustl.edu/~jac2/testA.out
- My second half has been modified several times with the final project being as such in the design portion above and the buyer being liable for the price of the goods: http://userf.cec.wustl.edu/~jac2/testB.out.
