Thank you for visiting my site!

I started this site in the summer of 2002 as a fun hobby, but it now helps me to keep in touch with friends and family, whether nearby, across the country, or around the world.

I'm currently studying Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. I live in a beautiful location in St. Louis City just north of Forest Park. My apartment-mates include Eric, my gerbil Fermi, many stuffed penguins, and some basil plants.

My immediate family still lives in my hometown of Kansas City, MO. I attended Liberty High School before I moved here to St. Louis. Go Bluejays!

The photo page on this website can probably give you the most up-to-date happenings on my life, as I normally procrastinate when it comes to updating the other pages.

Also, the following stuff, in no particular order, makes me happy:

Living at school near friends, penguins, process control systems, electronica, cooking, Eric, Eric's cooking, triathlons, knitting, running, swimming, my bicycle, my family, public transit, bread machines, math, driving with windows rolled down when it's chilly, Bubble Tea, science, getting mail, Marc Chagall, Ikea, having office supplies organized, recycling, recycling finally right across the street, Winter Solstice, visiting my family, the french language, soy milk, sushi, Alton Brown, visiting E's parents in Wisconsin, canoeing down the Red Cedar River, wearing scarves, computers, Firefly, Christmas at Linda's, Bjork, Pi Day, autumn, spending excessive time in Forest Park, fresh herbs, open-water swimming, Farmers Markets, engineering, Run Lola Run, Wallace & Gromit, having windows open so a cool breeze goes through the apartment, bicycle trainers, graphing calculators, writing real snail-mail letters, being a feminist, bright colors, hummus, Mr. Popper's Penguins, and having an updated website!*

Yay for all that.
