Like said before, your goal is to breed rabbits. Not very hard, since rabbits, well, breed like rabbits. You can put fencing down, but I wouldn't recommend it. The best stratagy seems to be to place mating pairs onto the grid spaced apart from eachother, and then let it sit. Not a very fun game, but with the rules Dr. Goldman gave us, what do you expect?
