different engineering disciplines. After lunch (which is provided)
students will team up for a series of mini design and communication
projects in the Engineering Olympics. Prizes will be awarded! The
day will close at 3:30 after a panel discussion led by ‘experts’
from the engineering field, including faculty and students. An

Notes:
- Although the Friday
activities are optional, we encourage students to come, as it is a
great way to meet and socialize with women at both the high school
and college level.
- Scholarships are
available for students who are unable to cover the cost of the
event.
- Teachers: One teacher
from every school that sends students is invited free of charge
and additional teachers are welcome for a five dollar fee. Special
activities are planned throughout the day for teachers, but you
will also have plenty of time to watch your students interact.
Women in Engineering Day
(as well as the night before) will be fun-filled and an excellent
learning opportunity. We hope to see you there!
